My 15 year old attended this school from K-5th and we had wonderful experiences with it. My 5 year old is now enrolled in K and LOVES school. The faculty and staff are upbeat and outstanding. I really can't say enough good about this school!
Where learning is an expectation and caring is a commitment??? This is the statement directly from Citrus county School board. I do not think they are aware of how unfair that school is. There are some teachers there that abosulelty fit the above statement however, what you will find with this school is they do not treat all the children fair. The school may have a high rating academically, but where is the compassion, caring and commitment to the children? What ever happened to striving for excellence and giving the children the tools and confidence to succeed. We all hope that our children have good, strong role models for teachers who possess the kind of qualities that make our kids want to be (and become) better people! Unfortunelyt this school does not follow its claim!
I love RCE. The staff is wonderful and will treat you child as there own. They respect and love each child!!! I would never consider moving. Due to the fear of sending my children somewhere else. I would say it is the top school in the county and its surroundings.
