The teachers and the principals are very friendly and helpful. They want the students to be successful as much as the parents. I do feel if the requirement for students is to take a foreign language in order to graduate, give more choice other than just Spanish.

I love how everyone is trying to spread the propaganda that Mineral Wells is an amazing place to put a serious student in need of college prep. I am a sophomore here and let me tell you that you shouldn't believe everything you hear. The school is overflowing with dugs and alcohol, and if you think I am kidding just find our seniors, band kids and even the freshman down the street on Friday nights after an unsuccessful football game. Also the number and availability of classes that the students have asked for such as a French and sign language class is unreachable due to budget cuts caused by the unneeded four story monstrosity we call a stadium. Also, if you are an athlete, the only way to get any attention is to join football. Overall if you are really that desperate for an education MWHS is the place for you.
