This school is the best school in the community! Such love and respect for the children and strong community ties. I always out of zone my kids to go here, where I know they will succeed!

This school just truly does not know how to handle kids with disabilities. Children with disabilities are shoved to the side and unfortunately the school doesn't have a desire to help them nor the education for their teachers to know how to help them.. The teachers fear talking to the parents -- they won't say anything that isn't previously approved. Those who have are gone. With ESE kids, look somewhere else or spend at least 5 years of your child's education fighting a school system that doesn't care and spend those 5 years stressed out. There is no ABA therapy here either. My child is now getting what is needed at a different school.

I would like to thank the citrus springs middle school staff, for thier constant willingness to excell, not only academically with the children but in all aspects ,emotionally and even endevor to see them succed , teaching the importance of community service and helping others. It is in my opion a Number one school. with a first class quality of teaches and staff.

I would not recommend this school to anyone with an ESE child. This school lacks adequate support for children with special needs. I found the principal to be very organized, but lacked people skills and the ability to communicate effectively with parents. My children were removed from this school when I felt the school no longer had their best interest in mind.
