Lavilla School of the Arts

Since arriving as the new principal at LaVilla School of the Arts in July, I have found a special student body, a dedicated staff, and involved parents. LaVilla is the only dedicated magnet school of the arts for middle school students in northeast Florida where students from a variety of backgrounds and sections of our city participate and learn together. We are committed to making LaVilla a school focused on performance standards where every child is helped to advance artistically and academically. Safety nets include grade recovery, Team Up, and Saturday School. I am proud of these eager students, talented staff and supportive community and I am committed to working with them to maintain LaVilla's A school rating.

I am in 11th grade at DA now, but I went to LaVilla for 6th-8th grade and I loved it! Mrs.Griffin is an amazing director and she helped me improve a lot on violin! =D

im a 7th grader there an it i just way to many students there this year and we only have fou minutes to get to class and it would be cooler if we had sports at our school but its still a pretty good school because we have arts and that can get yo a long way
