They have been so great with my granddaughter and my kids both went there and they seem to care about the kids and helping them so that they can get the best out of school.
They have very little parent outreach and No communication! They are very back woods. I plan on this being my childs last year.
Small school with very good teachers and staff. I have had two children attend. I like the school so much that after I moved I had my child approved to attend out of zone. Great Scouting program too.
All three of my boys have gone to Hernando Elementary and I cant say enough good things about the school. From the wonderful staff, super caring Guidance Counselors (especially Mrs. Bailey) and the eexcellent teachers, I highly respect them all. I now have one son in high school, one in middle school and my baby boy is in still in elementary in 1st. These people have been a big part of my life for a very long time and I love them all! I will always believe that the teachers and support staff should trade their salaries with the PRO ATHLETIC guys! Our teachers should be making the millions instead of them, as they hold the most precious of possessions in their hands daily and should be much more appreciated. Renee Benjamin
