Hayes Elementary School

This school has gone down hill over the 10 years that I have had children in this elementary school. They put the teachers or PTSA members kids in the target program, that do not show the test scores for. This school 'groups' the kids by target and does not encourage the rest of the children. Very disappointing.

I have had a child at Hayes for 3 years and could not be more pleased. The administration is awesome and they have made great strides in improving the way the families are involved in school life.

Any Student, Any School, Anywhere can only perform great things when there is a great parent or teacher supporting them. We are lucky to have both great parents and teachers at Hayes Elementary.

My daughter previously attended Hayes for the 4th grade. Her teacher was Ms. Charvette Jones. She is an excellent teacher and had a curriculum that was challenging for each student. She covered so much material in such a short time. Ms. Jones took the time with each child to make sure that they understood the subject matter. She was very concerned with her students well being and raised the bar academically for each and every student. My daughter learned so much and enjoyed being in Ms. Jones class. Due to a move, I had to withdraw my daughter from Hayes. I miss Hayes, but more importantly, Ms. Jones. She is definitely an asset to Hayes Elementary.
