The teachers are very enthusiastic about their work. The principal and the teachers alike are allways there for you and your children to attend to their needs. The nurse runs a program of activities before start of the school wich focuses on physical , mental activities, in the gym. A great number of the children attend the program. Tha PTA program is active and so are lots of parents. There are many activities beyond the school time that are provided to the students, like the writting club. The school make one feel safe. The teachers are there in the mornings to facilitate the children coming into class, even the principal, assistant principal and other teachers do the bus monitoring for the morning and the afternoon as the children are sent off to the buses. I am very happy my child attends AKFCS.

I have 2 sons who attend AKF. One in first grade, the other in fourth, and they've been there since kindergarten. They went to a different public school for preschool, which is closer to my house, and after seeing the way the K-3 teachers behaved there, I knew I wasn't letting my children stay, everyone was constantly yelling and screaming, and half the time it wasn't even in english! Instead, I walked into AKF unannounced one day and asked for a tour. I fell in love! There was profesionalism amoungst the teachers, everyone was upbeat and excited to show me the school, the kids were VERY well behaved, and when I looked into a 2nd grade classroom, the kids actually looked interested in what the teacher was talking about! The only drawback I can comment on is the lack of afterschool, and extra curicular activities, especially sports. Wish there was more!

AKF has proven to be the best choice I could have made for my daughter. The school reinforces the morals that we instill in her at home, music programs are great and the kids are taught to be accepting of theirselves and others without judgement. I have never seen a teacher/administrator who knew each and every student by first name within the first quarter of the school year. HS Principals are motivational and dedicated to the pursuit of dreams. I love the school and have no regrets of School Choice!

I like abby kelley alot . even though it its very challenging and kinda strict but other than that its a great school that has helped me alot with my education . unlike other public school thers no bullying which is the best part . we all except each other for who we are and were all just like a happy family . when i wake up to go to school i become so happy that am going to school because i just know am going to have a great day at school .
