My son transferred from another school district to Walsh. He was very unsure of the whole thing being the new kid. He loves the school and with the threat of the school closing he is worried of having to return to his home school district. Walsh is a wonderful school with a great attitude towards the children and enriching their future. If you find that you are looking for a private school to send your child to I would strongly recommend Walsh High School.

I moved to western N.Y. in 8/07 and needed to start my son in 9th grade. After seeing the local public school and comparing it to Walsh, It was not a hard choice to make. Although it is a small school, it has a spirit and an atmosphere that you will not find in public school. This is the best education you can give your child

I have Three children that attend Walsh at this time and one child that will attend next year. Wals is a great school with a wrm and welcoming atmoshpere. The teachers are great always willing to put in extra time to help students with homework. And if you want your son or daughter to participate in sports they have a good program and everyone participates that signs up to play. And the food is great. My children love the lunches. Administration is involved with the students. Parent involvement is great if your child participates in sports or go to dance there is always a caring parent somewhere nearby lending a caring watchful eye to the event. I encourage you to check out the school have your child take a tour and see what the walsh community is all about.

Overall I think Walsh is a very good school. (Our daughter started there mid-semester last year). There seem to be a few problems with Administration, but overall, it's the best in the area. Academic Programs, very good. Availability of Music/Art, very good. Sports--not so many options, but they do offer the basics. My daughter was amazed that all the kids get to know one another, even people in other grades. Generally wholesome, and encouraging environment for the kids. She's happy, we're happy.
