This is our second year at Hidden Valley and we couldn't be more thrilled and proud to be a part of this school and community. It is an exceptional school that offers safety, growth, enrichment and fun amongst a diverse climate that makes me feel as if I am offering my children a wonderful educational environment. From the principal to the teachers to the Parent Faculty Club, this school rates highest in our area in my humble opinion. Mrs. O'Brian, principal, listens to your concerns and takes her position very, very seriously to ensure that the kids are always safe and on track with their goals. The teachers have a very longstanding track record which speaks volumes in terms of teacher satisfaction, a rarity in some other schools. And, last but not least, the PFC bands together to ensure that our school generates funds along with FUN!
My Daughter is in Kindergarten - I too hate the 'no running' policy. But the teacher she has is WONDERFUL. The Pricipal has also been great - VERY responsive. I heard that this school has improved greatly - I think it shows. After hearing so many horror stories about public schools I am very relieved.
I think this school is excellent. I love how the school gets kids involved in fundraisers for the school. it helps them always feel like they are apart of something big. I love how my daughter in 1st grade now has such a great experiance with her teacher and her classmates. My son who is in Kindergarten is excelling already! He can already identify letters that he was not able to do in September. Kids at this school make huge progress! Happy parent! We have even forgone moving just so the kids could keep attending this school. Keep up the good work!

My daughter has had great teachers in the past four years but the principal has not been very friendly. The other thing I don't like is the no running. I remember that was part of the fun at recess when I was a kid. My other complain is the cafeteria food. When my daughter decides that she wants to buy lunch she complains that they were out of that and had to get what was left over. It's often something she doesn't like. Overall it's an okay school.
