buckeye union high school is now a better school with the '08 asst.prinsiple as the principle and they enforce their rules and help the teachers, parents and most important the students succed it is a much better school thank youngker orestrella or any other school around this area
My 17 yr. old step son transferred out of North Canyon High with a 1.89 overall GPA in his sophmore year. The boy is now in his senior year and is holding a 2.98 GPA due to the school taking their time with him and not overlooking him or us as concerned parents. The faculty is very attentive to the needs of their kids.

I would give this school no stars if that was an option. As both a parent and former teacher at Buckeye Union High School, I wouldn't recommend this school to anyone. The teachers, for the most part do attempt to do their best, but have no backing from administration. Speaking of which, the principal is 'unbalanced' for lack of a better term; she will try to harass any teacher who believes in students getting a fair and good education. If you want good teachers, staff, administration, as well as a good education for your children, send them to Youngkers High School instead of Buckeye Union High School.
