It's little. It fits the needs of the students. It's part of the community and not an island of the School Board. It's been around for longer than much of the county. And it works!
Clifton Elementary is a small, community oriented school that has very caring and committed teachers who provide a very high standard of education.
We love Clifton elementary school because of a wonderful balance of caring empathetic staff and great academics.
Clifton Elementary is more than just a great school, it is the kind of school that all other schools aspire to be. Clifton consistently finds the special balance between promoting independence by students and maintaining a respectful environment, between pushing students to give more effort and supporting them when they need extra help. The teachers and staff at Clifton do more than teach the material, they pay attention to how they teach and are attentive to whether their methods are getting through to their students. Clifton teachers are also very effective at engaging parents to be a constructive part of their child's educational experience. Clifton is great because the teachers, staff, students, and community have effectively developed a culture that makes the children love the school and love learning. Clifton is just a great school!
