I am currently attending West High School as a sophomore. In my honest opinion the only thing 'great' there is the lunch room. In the large lunch area there are multiple different things to choose from. From Mexican food to Pizza, there is a great selection. Other than that, West is a terrible High school. The amount of ignorance and violence within the school is ridiculous. Also, most teachers within the school are highly mediocre. Another thing that is a problem at West are the cliques. When I walk through the crowded halls it feels very divided. What bothers me the most though is how the Security faculty befriends some of the more 'Troublesome' students, and when those students get in trouble they get of without any consequences... There definitely needs to be an administration change, and some serious updates to rid of the
I currently attend West High School. I'm a freshman. From my point of view, West is a very good high school. It doesn't have a great nutritious lunch menu but then again, what school really does? None. I believe the teachers are actually really good. They teach us what we need to know. As for the athletes, well, I'm a current volleyball, basketball, and softball athlete. And believe me, WE DO WANT TO WIN! That's why we put in so many hours of work! We want to win every single year, which explains why we weighlift, and also take a weightlifting class. The dedicated students come to early-bird or after school weightlifting.I have many friends at West, and the fact is, I'm friends with people of many different groups! Some people care about popularity, most of us dont! West is best! Go FALCONS! -Proud Graduate of 2009!!
