Knight Fundamental School

Looking for a K-5 school with a strong back-to-basics curriculum? Knight Academy is the one for you! This year will be our son's fifth year and our daughter's third. Knight's teachers work with the students on their level, so that kids who fall behind get the extra attention they need, while kids who excel are challenged and encouraged to advance even further. We have been impressed with Knight's teachers and the open and daily communication between parents and teachers through signed homework sheets. Want to visit your child's classroom? At Knight, you're not only allowed but strongly encouraged to do so, as often as you like! There are after-school programs to keep the kids' imaginations soaring, as well as rewards for good conduct or outstanding performance. Knight is a uniform school, so kids focus more on school and less on clothing. My only regret: no music program. Come visit!

This is a fantastic school. Knight Academy is a magnet school. My son has attended Knight for three years. I made the mistake of sending him to another school which is considered to be a very good school in the Park Hill community, because we wanted to go though 8th grade. There was no comparisson! We then made the decision to put him back into Knight. We are so happy we did! The leadership at Knight has always been, and still is fantastic! The accountability from the Principal, Assistant Principal, Teachers, Students and Parents is second to none! This school is about Quality education, recognition of your son/daughter, and accountability for everyone involved. If you have not choiced your son/daughter for Knight Academy, what are you waiting for! CAB
