My son has been attending the Alachua Learning Center for 3 years and really has blossomed in their small, caring and attentive environment. The school has a small student to teacher ratio and because of this are able to give their students specialized attention. So, when my daughter was ready for kindergarten I was happy that she would be able to attend the Alachua Learning center. Now both my kids are thriving in school. We all especially enjoy the small size of the school. My kids and I know teachers and staff by name and they know us and as we walk to in fro to our different classes we are greeted everyday by smiling, friendly, familiar faces.

My kids have been at ALC for 2 years. They love it this school and are excited to get up and go everyday. They never did that at their other school. We only wish they went on through high school as my oldest child is very upset he is having to leave & start 9th grade at a new school.

My daughter went to the Alachua Learning Center for one year after trying out several other schools, And I have to tell you that in that one year, my daughter learned more than all of those schools put together. The teachers there are so dedicated to helping their students. It's incredible. As far as achedemics go, My daughter was a straight C student, but when she came to the Alachua Learning Center, thanks to extra help from the teachers, she changed from streight C to an A, B student! I am so happy that I made the right choice to send my child there and I am sure that you will be too. sincerly, Becky Calpner

My 6 year old son hatted going to the local public school as he felt lost in the overwelming number of students. The staff at ALACHUA Learning Center really care about the students, everyone knows everyone and the kids get individual attention. When you walk into a clas room at this school you will find the kids quietly busy at their desks and truly excited about pleasing their teacher. I was terribly upset that I could not afford private school for my son but Alachua Learning Center has given me peice of mind and saved me from expencive school fees. The children at this school are truly blessed.
