I have two children have have/are attending NWH. It is a wonderful school. The teachers are there because they want to be. It is more than just a job to them. The teachers teach the children more than the '3 R's' they also teach them respect, citizenship, honesty, leaderchip and responsiblity. I wouldn't trade this school for any around.

I have a child at this school..it offers no art program..the teachers are actually pretty rude to the parents most of the time and the principal has an authority complex..i am considering moving to Texas where the school system is well funded and also has more of a higher class of people teaching the children...plus..Texas seems to offer programs that durant will never have...

I currently have three children in NWH. The teacher to student ratio is pushing the limits, but I'd say it's pretty standard these days (18-23 students per class), and I have seen no ill effects on the classroom. I have been so very pleased with each and every teacher as well as the other faculty. The teachers have taken a personal involvement in my children's lives, even visiting my son when he was hospitalized. The principal takes time to get to know each child, and can intelligently converse with the parents about the strengths and weaknesses of your student. The teachers are very well prepared and trained, and the level of creativity is quite pleasing. All three of my children have learned to read in Kindergarten, sparking a greater love of learning throughout all included grades (K-3rd). I wouldn't trade this school for any other!

My daughter has attended NWH for the past three years. The faculty and staff are absolutely wonderful. They have all shown a commitment to excellence and seem to truly care about the well-being of my child. This fall, my youngest child will be entering their pre-K program. I had a choice between the program at NWH and the program at another facility. Both programs are high quality in my opinion, but because of my personal experiences with NWH over the past three years, I feel that they will provide the quality of education I am seeking for both of my children.
