Arcola schools lack leadership. Their principals are poor and their school board is even worse. Parental involvement is not encouraged by the staff and the overall level of academic programs is terrible. One of the biggest knocks against the Arcola School District is they do not teach students ethical principles. This is a problem which starts at the top and goes throughout most of the staff.
