My son went to this school since Kinder. He is now in 5th. I pulled him out. What wonderful teachers he had. All his teachers have transferred in the past two years. Parent involvement has disappeared. Lots of changes have taken place. It is not a good learning environment for kids.

This is my 3rd year teaching at TBP, moving to K after 2 years in 1st. There has been a high staff turnover rate this year. Staff are handcuffed by administration to strictly follow the curriculum, to the detriment of many of the students. Strict adherence to pacing is also mandated, regardless of whether students have understood a concept. Exposure to full year of curriculum vs. mastery is encouraged, leaving many students with gaps. Tiering is present in grades 1-5.

I have two children enrolled at Two Bunch Palms. This is the first year for the both of them. I have been to several of the awards assemblies which promotes good behavior and encourages each student to do their best. I am a college student, so I do not get to volunteer as much as I would like. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem as if many parents are involved as they should be; in after school activities which involve the students and the parents. Both of my boys enjoy school. Fortunately, we haven't had to deal with any bullying, due to the supervision on the playground. Children who are dropped off early for school have supervision as early as 8:15 am in front of the school and at 8:30 am, they are allowed to be on the playground which is also supervised. I love their teachers and their principal is just as wonderful! The school is surrounded by landscaping and has a huge playground. I like how the school is kept up too! I think it looks brand new!
