I think the school has a great influence on the children that attend. It is a little crazy in the lunch room area from time to time but everything seems to work. Academically I could not be more impressed on the strides they have taken. The parents are involved and the office is organized. The school could use a little fixing up but that is what funding raising and parent involvement should step in. Great Job Harvest Prep
My daughter has been going to Harvest since pre school age and she was reading books at 4 years old. She is 5 and she is in 1st grade keeping up with all the other kids. I love this school. All of my nieces and nephews go there as well.
My children have been attending Harvest Prepartory school for a little over 2 years now. I love the fact that they are learning at an advanced stage. When my fourth grader brought home geometry and I had to send a note to school on how I'm suppose to help her I was out done. They did a pledge one day it took them about 3 minutes to do the entire thing and they didnt miss a beat. At the beginning of the 07/08 year my child said she didnt want to go back. I told her to give me a reason the only thing she could come up with 'Mom I've been wearing uniforms my whole life' Not good enough. Now as the school year is progressing she has said I'am so glad I didnt transfer. I cant wait to 5th gr. when we wear skirts. Thanks HP staff. LaShonda Purnell
