As a graduate of BGHS, I experienced the school first-hand and I can tell you from my experience it is a safe school. I had fun there and felt safe and productive. The only downside is the school and staff doesn't put much emphasis on college. Out of all the alumni in my class, very few went to college, and even fewer graduated college. The school prepares students academically, but I wish they would've put more emphasis on college, and what to do to get into one.
If Your Child Is Bright Enough to Earn An International Baccalaureate (IB) Certificate Or Degree, Barry Goldwater's IB Program Is Academically Outstanding .
I see many parents complaining about the school..At what point do we let our kids work for what they need to move on in life..My daughter does very well at BGHS when we push her, her teachers have been helpful when treated with respect and not accused of not doing their job .
