The Geneva School

I love The Geneva School! I left a larger local 'Christian' school and I couldn't be happier. The teachers/staff are genuine and truly seek to demonstrate God's love in all they do. The academics are extremely challenging. It is a great high quality atmosphere, loaded with respect for the teachers, staff and students. This is by far the best school in the Winter Park/Oviedo area.

This is our first year at TGS and we are very pleased. The classical approach is fantastic. Our child isn't just memorizing facts, but has actually understands the material. The integration of subjects and historical timelines create such a holistic learning environment. I suppose the sports program could be better, but that will be rectified with the new facility. However, I personally feel academics should be the priority. Our child's teacher is amazing and our exposure to other teachers has been equally positive. We love that the school uses specialists for arts, music, science etc. Their passion is contagious - one of the science teachers had me wanting to take chemistry again! I am so thankful for finding this creative and exemplary approach to education.

This is the education we wish we had: challenging academics from a Christian worldview, small class sizes, and teachers who excel in their subject, are passionate about teaching, and love their students.

My child has been bored to the point of losing acacemic interest. The sports program is embarassing. The spiritual atmosphere is comparable to any public school. You are getting much less then you are paying for.
