This school is not moving in the right directions. Lakeview used to be one of the best school districk in Trumbull, now it is starting to falter. With 4th graders learning in trailers, this is not how I want my tax money to be spent for my childrens' educations. We need school personnel that can run this school profitably and with some leadership
I have 2 boys in the lkeview School district 1 in middle school and 1 at Cortland Elem. This is a very good school district it allows you to have as much (or as little) parent participation as you want Has very good academics, sports and music programs . We have been attending Lakeview Schools since my kids were In Kindergarten My boys both have adhd and it is a struggle sometimes. I am actively involved in Pto I would rate this school an A+

This 3 story brick facility brings back a nostalgic charm of Elementary schools from long ago. The staff is always friendly and most teachers are very welcoming to parent comments, questions and participtation. Excellent music education. High expectations from the principle who leads by example. The school is only lacking in a decent playground. Older damaged play structures were taken away without funding to be replaced immediatly. Good school overall. Many school functions throughout the year inclucing book fairs, skating parties, dances and fun school fair. Also this school provides many educational field trips for the children.
