Luiseno Elementary School

I am a mother of 3 girls, aging 6,8 & 10. They all go to Luiseno. My oldest is in 5th grade and has never gone anywhere else. (except Crossroads Christian preschool in Corona)They love the school as do I. My oldest is in the GATE program and has straight A's. My second daughter got all A's and 2 B+ 's. My youngest is way above grade level. The teachers are great and the Principal is outstanding! She's very professional and on the ball! They are a California distinguished school. It's hands down the best school in the district. Our community is very close nit and friendly! Now I just need to figure out if I should send her to Terra Cotta or Lake Elsinore Middle School. My oldest has been accepted into the GEMS program there. I'm apprehensive about sending her there. It's in a rough neighborhood. Not like Luiseno.

In the past couple of years Luiseno has gone from a good school to a great school. They have some of the top test scores in the district, they have been named a California distinguished school and the staff goes over and above the call of duty. Both of my kids went there and they received excellent prep for middle school.

I have one child in kindergarten (1/2 day). I am very very pleased with the school. I volunteer once a week and really get a feel for the school. Parents are very involved, as well as the staff.

My child has been going to Luiseno for 5 years. I love this school.It has a tightnit community feel. My son struggled his first three years due to a speech problem, but each and every one of his teachers have gone the extra mile to make sure that he is involved and motivated. He is doing very well now, thanks in large part to the caring and personal nature of the school.
