I went to Eagle Hills and was very excited to learn my kids would as well. Our experience has been amazing. My son is an avid reader and is in 1st grade.. His teacher this year and last were both awesome in the social devel and academic. My daughter has a completely different teacher and I am more than empressed with her as well. My daughter who is in K is already starting to write on her own and read very independently... as well as adding numbers. If I had to pick one area that needed work it would be in the assembly or more over the kids doing things for parents to watch. There really is none of that.. We had a sorta Christmas breakfast last year and that was ran poorly.and my daughter went to abreakfast that was better but not by much. Over all love the school and staff

I can't imagine a better school for my children than Eagle Hills Elementary. The teachers are outstanding and I can't imagine a principal who is more involved than the principal here. He does everything from taking kids to the school nurse to supervising the buses unloading every morning. He came to our son's kindergarten class and read The Polar Express at Christmas! There always seem to be parents volunteering in the classroom, and there are more than enough people supervising the playground. The teachers in the kindergarten are teaching what I feel to be first grade level skills. We are very happy with our experience at this school and are thankful that we have such a great place for our kids learn.

While almost all of the staff we came in contact with at this school were very friendly and helpful. Overall we still found this school experience disappointing. During the numerous times we volunteered in the classrooms of both of our children my husband and I found the atmosphere chaotic. It didn't seem to be a calm learning environment at all. The computer lab was the worst, it felt like total bedlam. The principal did not come across to us as proactive. On a few of our interactions with the principal he seemed more defensive than concerned with trying to resolve any of our concerns. We did have some pleasant experiences at this school but have decided to transfer our children to another school this next year.
