Highland Elementary School

I adore this school. The teachers and staff are outstanding. We are an overload school and many of the students going back to their home schools wish they could stay. I cannot say enough good things about Highland!!! Keep up the great work!!!!

I have two children at Highland and we all love the school and all the teachers. My children have been there for 6 yrs.My husband and I are very involved and that makes a big difference. The principal and vice-principal are open to opinions and change and that's a big plus for our family.

This was my first year to experience public school education for my children. They have been in a private Christian school untill now. It has been a wonderful experience for myself and my two children. The school is organized, the curiculum fits the needs of all children and most importantly there is a sense of pride amoung the staff and kids.

I love this school! It has become a state recognized school since the pricipal highly focuses attention on reading skills 1st to better prepare students for learning and understanding of other acedemic skills like spelling & mathematics. My child has high scores & they have been consistant. The parents are given many opportunities to become involved with their child at school, either in class, special clubs, or even special lunches. A very focused school!
