This school produces amazingly well-prepared, confident, mature and well-mannered students. It's an impressive program. Renee Crane, the new Head of School, is providing great leadership for the teachers and staff.
This is an encellent program. Many children are preforming above standard. P.E. twice a week, music, art, spanish and french. Children are allowed to excell at ther own pace. Allowing a student to move ahead even if another student requires a little more time on a subject. This school did have some growing pains but have resolved them and are moving ahead. Over all, this is the best school for a child to grow and have a joy of learning.
This is an excellent program; however the school definetly has its problems. The problems lie with some of the teachers and the overall structure of the school and its board. I beleive it is a over priced program for the level of instruction (or encouragement to move on). There is a new director now; this opens room for improvement. Again, it is over priced for the level of instruction!
This is an amazing school. The Montessori program allows children to learn at their own pace and ability with care and guidence to motivate each student on an individual basis. Children learn from concrete materials throughout the program. This particular school offers music, art, foreign language, and physical education every week! Majority of the children are performing above grade level and are exposed to geography, science, math, language, reading and also life skills, such as, manners, good eating habits, cleaning up after oneself and the list goes on. Montessori focuses on guiding children to become self motivated and self directed children giving them the tools they need to be independant, intelligent and hard-working individuals.
