The leadership and teachers at this school believe in the students and that all students are capable of succeeding in life. Students at Chavez respect each other and work together to make Chavez the great school it is.
My daughter attends Chavez, and I love this school. They work very hard at maintaining the 20/1 ratio of students to teacher for K-3. They have scored very high in academic achievement and I am happy that I have allowed my child to attend this school. We were mapped into attending a new school that is being built, but I am not willing to take a chance at a new school. It may not hold a shine to the old Chavez. This is truly a great, involved school.
My daughter attended Chavez when it was K-6. I think the year-round calendar was a major plus, and the teachers she had every year were top notch.
