The staff and administration are out of this world. We would never consider sending our daughter anywhere else. The environment is nurturing towards the whole child and emphasizes a life long love of learning and community. What else could a parent ask for?

Our 7th grader has attended Center for Education Montessori School (pre-K thru 8th grade) since he was 4 years old. We are delighted. The school's focus is on providing each child confidence-at-the-core, and developing and encouraging a child's natural desire to learn and grow. Scholastically, the kids tend to excel when they move on to the next school. More importantly, they learn social skills that will serve them for a lifetime -- for example, conflict resolution, problem solving, and democratic decision-making are part of the daily experience. While there is physical education, there is no organized intermural or intramural competitive sports program -- but we feel there's time for that in high school. There is a great music program. Class sizes are small. Tuition is kept very reasonable to encourage economic and social diversity of the school body. There is an active parents' association.
