My daughter gets a good education at QES. The teachers are very caring and well educated. I'm very happy with the school, leaders and teachers.

Pioneer Quincy has improved this year under new leadership. It is still greatly underfunded which means there are still issues with special need students (gifted and struggling kids) getting what they need. There is a lot of quality parent involvement which really helps to support the school. Extra curricular activities are provided, but mostly from sources outside the district. Most teachers are very highly qualified and respected.

In the last 2 years Quincy Elementary has not been the school it used to be. They have very poor leadership and the teachers moral is quite low. My children have attended this school for 6 years and I definitely have seen the decline. Some parents are basically ruining the school because they want to tell teachers how they should be teaching. There is much to much parent involvement.
