My family and I are grateful for such a wonderful public school. We could have enrolled in a private school but why do that when we have Deerfield Elementary? All staff members (principal, teachers, support, custodial,...) seem to work as a team to make sure my student has a great experience.
My daughter teaches there and it is one of the nicest schools I have taught in. The Principal is exceptional as is the quality of teaching and parent involvement.
MY children attend deerfield elementary school and learning so much thanks to the teachers and kids club after school programs. Keep up the excellant work!
My child attended from Pre-K to 4th grade (6 years). Most of the teachers were very good however, there seems to be favoritism toward families that have alot of money and/or are on the PTO. The PTO is very 'clicky'. I felt like I was in high school again. Not very friendly people if you are not rich. Also, the work load was way too heavy. They would not spend very much time on each subject before they moved on to the next thing, which results in WAY too much homework.
