Well what can i possibly say about this school. I notice the reviews of several years ago were ok,but not any good ones lately. This wont be good either. This school has been so bad im thinking of private school. I too feel completely left out of the loop with teachers and feel that they could care less about the students learning anything. Not trying to be funny ,but i really think my kids have actually went backwards in learning this year. Is that even possible? Im now looking for other options for schooling as my childs education is a must. And for what we all pay in taxes to live here with these schools is a joke. My advice is to keep looking if you thought a smaller school would offer a better education for your child. Very dissapointed!
Not enough communication between teachers and parents. Parents left out of the loop. When parents press for more info the teachers act like they do not want to be bothered with the parents and want to only communicate with the kids.
This is a 5th grade school that will be really missed when they build the new elementary. My daughter had a wonderful social experience at this school. Front office staff is friendly and all staff makes a point to know every child. They lack experience in inclusion setting classrooms. I feel they need to have either two teachers in the inclusion classrooms, or train the Instructional Aides. My daughter was in inclusion, but the aide only graded papers and was out of the classroom a lot. The 'inclusion' label was a joke. Other than that, the school is warm and friendly. I am glad my daughter had the opportunity to attend.
