The principal has taken on too many special programs at this school and leaves it up to the staff to 'figure it out' and run them. He is a nice face for the school but is quite often not there and is not much of a leader, which leaves the teachers to fend for themselves concerning any challenges they might have, whether it be curricular based, discipline based or what have you. The PTO is small and clicky. When I was a child, meetings were in the evenings, not at noon on a work day.My neighbor and I attended a meeting at the first of the school year and neither him nor I felt welcome, like we were intruding. The PTO pres seemed nice and friendly but the rest of them were set in their ways.I've enjoyed my child's teachers thus far-they've been pretty good, but we're thinking about homeschooling.

Great Teaching Staff and wonderful support staff, the Principal Mr. 'A-M' gets personally involved with the students and encourages his staff to be more than instructors. Mentoring is culture at this school. Really active PTSO and staff even gives up saturdays for extra curricular activities!
