My son has been going to Greenhills for 2 years now - this school is absolutely wonderful. The principal is fantastic - very engaged with the children and their parents. The staff work well together and are very nurturing and caring. GH feels more like a private than a public school. A+ AAA+++pleased
This is my son's first year (K). The teacher is great. My wife and I are really happy with everyone.
This is a wonderful school for all children. I hope it improves and grows. We love the teachers. They are so different from Oakhills and Eureka (in a good way.)
Parent run Science Docent Program is phenomenal! With funds raised by our PTC we are able to have a hand on Science Program once a month. All K-3 classes get a chance to experience science experiments and presentations that seem to be lacking in other public schools. The curriculum is easy to understand and very fun. Each month the children have a different subject brought to the classroom. There is always hand on experiments and a relevant project to take home. First graders got to explore the oceans, learn about spiders, matter, trees and the rainforest as well as weather, ecosystems and animal habitats. Our children are being exposed to concepts that I learned in College. In elementary school! When I ask the kids what they want to be when they grow up they often tell me - a Scientist! Way to go Greenhills! Thanks PTC!
