I have 2 children currently at this school (4th and 2nd grades) and my 3rd will start Kindergarten in the Fall. The staff and teachers at this school are extrodinary! Without hesistation I send my children here day after day knowing that whatever their needs are they will be met! Way to go Heim Huskies!
Heim Elementary is probably one of the best elementaries in the nation. We are a military family and move more than the average family. I have children in the 1st and 3d grades at this school. The teachers are extraordinary. There is a consistant and high level offering of music and art. My kindergartener learned to draw and color like Monet! My third grader sings in the chorus, which is a joy to listen to. The PTA offers wonderful after school clubs that include gardening, scrapbooking, pilates, sewing, and so many more I can't list them all. We have been truly blessed by the educational community here. In fact as we move again this summer, I am very concerned for my new kindergartener. I pray we can find a school as loving and as academically excellent as this one. Heim also won the national PTA parent involvement award in 2004.
