Gary Elementary School

My daughter is enrolled in the dual language program at Gary school and I cannot say enough about how wonderful this program is. She will be entering 2nd grade next year and I'm amazed at how she is speaking and retaining much of what she's learned in Spanish. The children in kindergarden stay together until the end of 6th grade. Since she's started learning Spanish at an early age, she's been able to speak it with an authentic accent. The 2 teachers she's had so far have been wonderful! My 3 year old has even learned her colors and numbers just from being around her older sister. A BIG thanks to Mrs. Mendoza, the kindergarden teacher for bringing this program to Gary School. I can't say enough about how wonderful she is. She is an A+ teacher and Gary school should be very proud to have her.
