I was impressed with the level of 'care' each teacher demonstrated with the students. Additionally, when it came to WASL time, each teacher did more to teach the students the material, rather than get them to 'memorize' the content of the test. As a result, the scores might be a bit lower than expected, but they are a true representation of the students' abilities in each subject, rather than how well they were able to remember the content. My son's 6th grade teacher was voted 'Teacher of the year 2005'. This title was well-earned. The student to teacher ratio is excellent as well. Finally, the students of a grade are 'divided' according to their aptitude. This allows kids who accel in reading, writing, and math to continue at a different pace than those who require remidial training. This was important because 'slower' kids tend to hold back the others.

Robert Gray easily has the best staff in the district if not the county. Was hesitant to put my kids in this school but on the recommendation of friends decided to try it and am glad we made that decision.
