When moving to Rockford, we were unsure about sending our children to the private or public schools. After visiting both, OLC stood well above the others. They have a small student to teacher ratio in each class, a Christ centered, friendly atmosphere and a wonderful and challenging curriculum. Our children are learning so much. We are so pleased with our choice! We are also excited that OLC will be expanding to add a seventh and hopefully eighth grade.
Our Lady of Consolation offers the most comprehensive, the most valuable educational experience Rockford has to offer. OLC provides student centered education through excellence in teaching and measurable effective learning. The staff personifies a shared vision of intellectual and spiritual growth nurtured by a supportive environment. The OLC community endeavors to promote high Christian standards and empowers students and parents to model Christ s values. These values encourage and develop relationships established on mutual trust and understanding of differences. I encourage anyone interested in exploring the benefits of a rewarding educational experience; to contact the school to arrange an open house the doors are always open.
