Just look at the test scores...it says alot about this school that the parents do not. My son attended this school for a year. We moved due to the poor school system in Romeoville. Overloading kids with 3-4 hours of homework a night, not a good way to get kids motivated. My son was a straight A student..never considered for advanced classes. The schools my children attend now are rated 8 and 9. All test scores are above the state average. Because of this, the schools get the funding they need, and the taxes are nowhere near the outrageous amount in Romeoville. I used to love this town,I lived there for 25 years. Now it has been overpopulated with kids who dont get the help they need from home to pass these state tests, which means no funding. I am so glad my honor student is no longer subjected to this.

I am a parent and I have never seen such a committed team of people as the ones who work at AVM. They truly care about the children. The school has finally been remodeled and looks great. They keep these kids on their toes. I keep in constant contact with the teachers via email. Homework hotline on website is awesome. But, they don't go easy on these kids. I have been impressed. I think their sport teams need to expand and have atleast a JV and varsity. There are 50 kids who tryout for a sport and they only have less than 10 spots. It's discouraging for the kids.
