David Gregory School is one of those exceptional schools where every child gets individualized attention. The family atmosphere provides students with a warm and loving environment while the scientific and research methods insures the development of each individual child to the best of their ability. My child has been a student at DGS since he was 3 years old and the difference in him was evident after the first few months. (he is now 7). Parents are always welcome and instructed as to how to work with their child at home. The parent support meetings are very helpful but poorly attended unfortunately.

DG School goes far beyond 'conventional' methods to educate the students. The school does an excellent job of enhancing the cirriculum that is presented to the students, which equates to a better retention of the basics these children truly need, as well as more complex subjects. I do not believe, however, that the students' parents understand how learning at school and continuing the learning process at home truly optimizes the developmental skills these students truly need. The schools speech/ language pathology program, for example, does a great job developing a student's language skills, but all too often, the outside support (parents) is lacking, at best. I recommend this school for the determination each teacher and specialist has for its students.
