Brooks staff represents the true team spirit of education. They share ideas and assist students in every area even outside of school sports and academics. The only problem - students need to meet expectations of parents and teachers and GET THE WORK DONE! Overall - Brooks is one of the strongest schools in our district.
In response to the last post, the library was remodeled over the summer and has all new bookshelves, chairs, the works! The parents volunteered, too. Brooks band will be marching in Chicago for Columbus Day, so on October 13 at 12:30 tune in to WGN channel 9 and watch for the bulldogs!
Excellent school. I have a son attending his second year at Brooks. I don't understand the rating here because I feel the staff is superior and the students have great learning opportunities. Many classes have team teaching and there are 2-3 teachers/aides/students. Classes are small, and teachers communicate with parents all the time about progress.
I loved/do love Brooks Middle School when i attended there. It has the best teachers/staff/principals I have ever had. I truly miss it and want to visit there soon!
