I am also a student and i love it here:) this is my first year at oakbrook middle school! It is the best school i have ever been to and so fun to be around! Thank you so much Mr.Crump (our prinipal)
This is the first year my children are attending Oakbrook and it will be the last. The children do not respect oneanother nor do they respect their teachers. The teachers and principles have no control over these students and because of that the good students have to suffer. My son and daughter in previous years have enjoyed going to school but not anymore...they are now scared of school. Sad, very sad!
My son is in the 6th grade in oms.This is our first year in the Sc. public school system, because he has always been in private school. I can not say enough about how good I think this school is, granted , it has it's good and bad teachers, students , and problems, but all in all it is a joy to know my son, feels safe and the teachers care about their students and what they are teaching. My son is in the Gate program, plays in the band,has join clubs , and loves all the extra things they get to do.
I am in sixth grade at Oakbrook, and I love it here. Right now I can assure you your sixth-graders will be fine. We have a new sixth-grade principal and she is excellent with handling problems. I really enjoy the variety of classes. I am in Spanish/Dance and I love it.
