I don't know about the teachers (they seem alright) but as a parent it has been difficult at best to get any cooperation from the counselors and administration office. If you have a perfect A/B student that has grown up in Colfax I am sure it is a great place to go to school. However if your student struggles academically or is not a part of the small town clicks then just forget getting any help. You are better off sending your kid elsewhere!

This school has been very good for my children. Teachers care about students and administration listens to my kids.

Colfax High School provided my children many opportunities to be successful. Teachers spend the extra time to help children before and after school. For a small school, Colfax provides a great variety of classes for students going to college or trade school. The parent access to grades on line is very helpful. The school provides many clubs and competitive athletic and scholastic teams. I think Colfax works hard for all kids.

Small rural school, with good teachers. The town is very clique, with the old blood running and calling the shots. Outsiders may struggle to find their nitch here. Unless they are very attractive, and rich.
