Avery Elementary School

My daughter has been a student now for two years. We are absolutely delighted at how well coordinated Avery is. Parent involvement is extremely high - which is a sign of a great school. The teachers are very talented and are very caring. My daughter went from not reading but barely a few words at the beginning of K to reading at a beginning 2nd grade level at the end of K. She loves going to school, the activities and her friends. The Love & Logic discipline method is fantastic, I wish I would have known about it earlier.

My son loves his teachers, the computer technology, recess/physical education program and most of all his friends.

Avery has the most dedicated teachers I've seen in a long time. They all work hard to meet the various extremes of learning abilities in their classrooms. They are loving and kind as well. The administrative team works well to support the teachers. it is a great new school in the county.

I have two children at Avery and have been extremely impressed with the teachers that both of my children have had. They are very caring, yet well-organized and have exceptional control of their classrooms. They really seem to enjoy their jobs and are incredible in managing various learning capabilities in their classrooms. Without exception, the teachers and learning environment at Avery are outstanding!
