This is a great school. I am a parent who has seen what can happen for my children when parents take active roles at home and in the school setting. The teachers are hard working. Improvement needs to be made in tutoring for students and extra curricular activities for all students. The staff cares a great deal about its students
Paradise high school is the absolute worst school you can send your child. There are not enough words to describe how horrible this school is and the people that are running it. Unfortunately, there are not any options in such a small town. Home schooling should most definitely be your 1st option!
Great teachers, but many serious problems with the school. If you are not in an AP or Honors class, chances are that the entire class will be filled with 'slackers' and 'pot heads' and you will learn very little. I'd recommend staying away from PHS if possible, especially with the budget cuts.
