Our child is in her second year at Paideia Academy. The educators have been wonderful. She looks forward to school each day. The vision of the school couldn't align more with our family vision for education. The education and expectation level far exceeds what we've seen from the general public schools in our area. We are thankful for the founders of Paideia Academy in forging ahead with their thoughtful vision to better education.
Middle school program lacks purpose and vision. Potential to be a great school, but poor math program with no real differentiation. piecemeal language arts proogram. Unfocused world language doing Spanish two days and Classical roots two days with not enough time to master either. We will be transferring to a school with a clearer Classical focus, a better math program, and a REAL world language program. The strength of this school is the focus on character and respect. The spirit at the school is great!
My son has been going to Paideia for 4 years, he has grown so much. We love the small classroom size which enables him to get more one-on-one.
We absolutely love Paideia. There is a wonderful school spirit that exists at the school - one that is reinforced by its small size, dedicated staff and the required school uniforms. We also like the focus on rigorous academics. Our daughter's teacher regularly sends home additional homework to challenge her and help her reach her potential. The Core Knowledge curriculum is fantastic because it keeps a heavy emphasis on the fundamentals that will serve the students well throughout their academic lives. We also like the year-round schedule. We get longer breaks during the year and a shorter summer break, which keeps kids from getting bored and losing their forward momentum. Overall, if you are looking for a small, caring school environment that challenges your child, Paideia Academy is a great place.
