Honestly, I am a Freshman to Brockton High and love it. I feel that this school, even if it is huge, is a wonderful school. All of my teachers are great and extracurricular activities are fantastic. The teachers do a great job on knowing their students. I feel that the parent reviews don't do Brockton High any justice. The staff is very helpful and I, being from a household where English is not the main language, feel that the school's communication is fine. The school has many opportunities that I feel I wouldn't have if I had gone elsewhere.
My son went there for 2 years and at the end of his sophmore year he told me he didn't feel safe there. My son isn't a trouble maker or a bad student, And as far as the teachers being supportive they weren't there for the student nor us as parents.They were to busy being their friend instead of the teacher. If you asked them to call with an update it would be days later. What great support us as parents had. I am glad he is out of there. Now I am having conflicts with my younger child in the school system what a disappointment.
Brockton High is the best school, I went there and my brother is currently attending Brockton High. The education level is top notch and they inspire their students to be great even after graduation.
