This is our first year at Cimarron Elementary. The teachers and staff are so nice. The PTA is very helpful and there are plenty of opportunities to get involved with the school. Now I see why Katy ISD has such a great reputation.
My son attends kindergarten here. He has a wonderful teacher, Ms. Harper. She is very caring and nuturing with her students. He has learned so much going here. Although I was apprehensive about my son going to a public school, having come from a private, he has come out on top. The staff at the school has always been very helpful. I am very pleased with the school so far.
We are new to the school and don't feel welcome. We came to the school in October and basically had to figure out what was going on at the school by ourselves. No information was given voluntarily. The PTA is a joke. We attended some of the events and no one acknowledged us.

The parents of Cimarron Elementary are quick to volunteer when asked. Our PTA is currently involved in recruiting more parents through our Membership program this year. We have so many ways our parents can help and they will be called on to join in the volunteering. Cimarron has tons of extracurricular activities to excite students: Guitar Club, Choir Club, Art after school, Whiz Kids Club(computer, Running Club, etc. Just choose one and attend the meeting/learning experiences. This school is filled with dedicated teachers who are committed to student achievement daily. HUGE thank you to our teachers and administrators!
