Berean at one time had a wonderful reputation, when my son first got there, i was in love with that place. But i think school personnel become so consumed with numbers of students that we lose the quality of education. At one time a student had to be interviewed and records had to be shown from the other schools before a child would be allowed to be a student there. Then it was decided to give all students a chance, Berean would be like the new beginning for children. And yes that was a nice sentiment, but along with that i have walked on the campus and children were cussing like sailors, and they saw that i was a parent and could have cared less.In my day another student would at least say, 'hey man chill, a parent is present'. This year, there is a new principal, and a whole new staff, i hope and pray that all will be well with everything. The faculty seem excited, structure seems to be the main focus along with the curriculum. They were made aware of the issues that were before them, and they are making the attempt to rectify the situation.....so i am praying the past be the past.....and the present and future be victorious.....
This school is the worst, the children are out of control they don't have any respect for teachers or parents and they are not teaching anything . This school year was terrible and my son will not be going here next year.
