Forest Hills Elementary School

Forest Hills is one the exceptional elementry schools that is left here in Anderson. My daughter is dyslexic and Mrs. Clidence her first grade teacher took the time to meet with me and look at things that have helped her. Every teacher since has been willing to do the same and she has achieved far better than I could have dreamed for.

The teachers at Forest Hills take a genuine interests in the student well being. Sad to say that is rare in Anderson Schools.

My daughter attended Forest Hills and just loves it there! I also like the school because Principal Kalisz, the teachers, and the staff are all very kind and caring individuals. They are truly committed to making sure that the children receive the best educational experiences while attending there. Since my daughter has ADHD, they take extra time with her to help her do the best that she is capable of. They also are accessible to me and have no problems with answering my questions and addressing any concerns I may have. That means alot to me and I appreciate it.

An outstanding school that is lead by an impressive principal who truly wants to see every child succeed. The teachers are caring, personable, and willingly develop a parent/teacher education partnership. There are many extraordinary teachers at this school! As with many other schools, more parent volunteers are needed. However, there is a consistent number of parents that can always be counted on!
