Melissa Jones School is a wonderful school. Theteachers are very committed and there are many opportunities to get involved. I love the website and the school newsletter. Teachers are very accessible and I can tell they set high standards for the students.
This school is fantastic! There is a world language program, as there is in all Guilford's elementary schools. The tone of the school is warm and friendly and there is a positive relationship between school and home. The wonderful before and after school program offers great enrichment .and play!
I am disappointed in the lack of foreign language instruction at the school. I am also not impressed with the teachers or staff in terms of friendliness or with initiating and maintaining contact with parents when necessary. For a town like Guilford, it can and should do better.
