As a parent of 2 at OLG, i am very pleased with the education m children recieve. they've been at OLG for 6 years and the community is just amazing the principal is a real leader and knows what she's in. The teachers work hard and they support your child fully. I would fully recommend this school to friends and family. I'm happy i chose OLG for my children to attend it was a very smart choice that i don't and probably never will regret. This school really gets the parents involved to help you better understand what your child learns at OLG and know the community very well. Overall this school has truely been amazing and i would recommend this school because it's just excellent!

As a parent of two children at OLG, I am very pleased with the education they have received and with the sense of community that the school offers. The principal is awesome. The school's test scores are quite good, and they typically outperform the rest of the Archdiocese as well as the public schools. OLG alumni generally attend the high school of their choice. If there is an area for improvement, it is the volunteer requirement - it is quite high, and the volunteer burden could be better distributed throughout the community. It seems that the 80-20 rule applies - 80 percent of the volunteer work is done by 20 percent of the community. Personally, though, the volunteer hours can be good social time, and the benefits of the community are well worth the effort.

We are very pleased with the school community, its academics, and focus on service (within the school as well as outreaching). The teachers work very hard to ensure every student reaches his/her potential.

My daughter has been a student at OLG for over 4 years, and we are very pleased. The teachers exhibit a strong commitment to students and Catholic principles. It is a small school that provides a relatively good selection of extracurricular activities, with the benefit that your child will not get 'lost' in a crowd. I've noticed they monitor progress as children advance to the next grade, with weaknesses addressed; and strength's nurtured. There is a full time school counselor on staff who is a wonderful resource as well. Parent participation is required in the form of committment hours, a norm for catholic schools. If your are new to the Seattle area - so were we and our experience was good, our daughter was welcomed by her class and teacher, and her classmates' parents welcomed us too. The Parish is small and is a nice community.
